A: Whistle-blower means any person who makes a Disclosure.

Q: Who can report unethical practices under whistle-blowing mechanism ?
A: All stakeholders - All Employees, Vendors/Contractors, Dealers and Customers.

Q: What kind of information can be provided?
A: Information on any unethical activities such as Fraud, Theft, Bribery, Corruption, Policy violation, etc., that affects HMIL can be provided. Product related complaints will not be addressed through this platform.

Q: Can information be provided only by filing a complaint through this website?

Q: Can a Whistle-blower make an anonymous disclosure?
A: Yes, a Whistle-blower can make an Anonymous disclosure and the portal is designed to facilitate the same.

Q: Is there any criteria for providing Anonymous disclosure?
A: No, any disclosure can be made Anonymously but adequate facts and information to substantiate the complaint should be provided.

Q: Whether a person has to come in person to submit any complaint ?
A: No, Complaint can always can be made in Whistle blower website and maintain anonymity.

Q: What happens after I have submitted a complaint?
A: Once you've submitted a complaint, the Audit team will review the disclosure and investigate further.
You can be rest assured that your complaint will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.

Q: What is Unique Identity Number?
A: Unique Identity Number is an alphanumerical number generated automatically each time a disclosure is submitted.

Q: What am I supposed to do with Unique Identity Number?
A: The Unique Identity number should be noted and later it is used for further communication and tracking of complaint status.

Q: How does the feedback system work?
A: After the complaint is reviewed, the Audit team may ask for further clarifications for better understanding if necessary, through the feedback system. Feedback can be accessed & responded by the whistleblower with the Unique Identity Number (UIN).

Q: What should I do if I have lost the Unique Identity Number?
A: If you lose the unique identity number, it cannot be retrieved elsewhere for security reasons. You may register a new complaint citing reference to your original complaint.

Q: How will I know that the information provided is kept confidential?
A: Access to whistle-blower website is restricted to the respective Audit person and highest level of confidentiality would be maintained.
